Really bummed. Only got to watch half (not even actually) of Fridays matches at Murfield. What an awesome atmosphere. Phil and Kegan were el fuego. Was a lot of fun, wish it didn't get rained out.

Shot an 86 this morning at Turnberry. Not bad for my 4th or 5th time out this year. Had a few birdie opportunities, just couldn't make the putts. Greens were so wet, and so slow, couldn't get the putter going at all

Travelling to Springfield, Mo this upcoming week for work and I am going to take the opportunity to hit the course. I am scheduled to play the Payne Stewart Golf Club in Branson. I have never played the course before. Has anyone played the course? Opinion of the course?

Played more than likely the last round of the year at one of the local private clubs here in Indy. Not to shabby a round for not having played for awhile. Couldn't get off the tee to save my life, but scrambled rather well.

Ok. I bit on the whole white clubhead thing and for a while I liked it, but I think the experiment is over. It's just not my thing. In fact, I think I am done with TMAG. It's time to go back to Titleist.

Looks like Santa will be bringing me a 913d3 driver and 913h 2 hybrid for Christmas, and I'll be selling an RBZ driver, 3wood and hybrid. Anyone else expecting to change out clubs in the offseason?

Anyone have any experience with the Cobra AMP Cell Pro irons?

http://www.cobragolf.com/amp-cell-pro-irons

Here's what is in my bag currently:

Cobra AMP Cell driver (9-degree)
Cobra AMP Cell hybrid (19-degree)
Callaway X20 3-PW
Cleveland CG15 (52-56-62 degree)

I love the Cobra driver and hybrid. The AMP Cell Pro irons come in a 4-PW so I would have the choice of getting a 3-iron to match or dialing down my hybrid to a 22-degree and getting the AMP Cell fairway wood. I don't carry a fairway wood at the moment because I really just don't need it at my home track. I hit the hybrid about 240-250. Currently playing at a 6.8 index and looking for a new set of irons that fits a lower handicap like myself.

Don't know much about them. A local guy is selling a 3-PW set w/ PXi6.0 shafts. I asked why he was selling them and he said he plays to a 12 hc and isn't consistent enough to hit them.

Good looking set. I wanted to try them but didn't have time. They looked comparable to my MP64s.

A couple of golfers in Australia came across a kangaroo sun bathing on the face of a bunker, minding its own business.

The only problem was that the player's ball was in that very bunker.

Now, normally you'd expect the kangaroo to hop away in fear of the scary man with a golf club, but that was hardly the case. It continued to soak up some sun and eat some grass while the guy played his bunker shot.

Even after getting a face full of sand, the kangaroo still laid there as if nothing happened. The golfer even went up and played his shot just inches away from the kangaroo ... hardly a flinch.

Got to play Bay Hill when I was down in Orlando a couple weeks ago. Solid track with some tough "rough". Was a little loose off the tee on the front and shot 44. Then the cart girls arrived, and the swing lube helped substantially. Ended up making birdie on the 18th to shoot 79, 35 on the back.

There were only about 12 people playing that morning, the highlight was some smoking hot LPGA chick who was practicing on the range in a short pink skirt.

Not much of a clubhouse, however we did eat breakfast and lunch in the grill or whatever. Very good food and hospitality, also some decent looking MILFs who had just finished playing tennis.

I have a good friend that is currently deployed in Afghanistan. We were deployed together in Iraq as Scouts in 2004-05. We have played lots of golf together over the years. I got out of the Army and went to law school. He stayed in and became a Kiowa pilot. Anyway, I wanted to do something for him, so I customized his wedges. I posted some pics a while ago of my Ohio State themed Scratch Golf wedges. My friend is unfortunately a Tennessee Vol fan, so that hideous orange is prevalent in these wedges.
