Anyone who hasn't tried out the new Nike SuMo 5000 driver is missing out. A real winner! I get about 15 yd more carry than my old club, and it's very difficult to hit crooked.

the square head? i have the older Ignite. When i put it in the bag i picked up a ton of yardage also. the higher launch with less spin is the key.

Friday I was golfing and shot my lowes score ever. Granted it was at a very easy course that I have played since I first learned to golf. It was a 62 (+3). I had a hole in one on a 100 yard hole. used a 7 iron and at first I was like crap there goes the birdie but it took a nice hop onto the green and dribbled down the slope right into the whole. They said they heard me back at the club house.

In case anyone is wondering its a small place called Little Creek Golf Course in Spring Grove, PA. They are closing it soon for residential development and I am getting my last few rounds in before it closes.

Wouldn't that be Stink Grove, PA? That place smells like ass.

Ha yea thats what we are famous for...Although the smell is now a lot fainter than it was and only is noticable in the immediate area of the mill. And as I just found out the course isn't closing but there is an internal fight for ownership.

Shot an 87 at my parents country club Shady Hollow (in the Canton area) today for my first round this year. That's with 2 7's and a 6, where I put the ball OB on two of those along with chunking a few shots. I could have easily shot an 80-82 if I got rid of a few stupid mistakes. Overall pretty happy for the first round of the year.

Question, any of you out there have a 50 degree wedge?

I currently have a dead zone that I don't have a club for.

Hit my sand wedge about 85 yards.

Hit my 52 degree about 105 yds.

Hit my pitching wedge 140 yds.

I need a club for about 120-125 yards b/c trying to take a ton off of my PW is not helping my score.

i have a 60, 55 and 48 (L, SW, PW) and hit them 80, 100, 125. i cant figure out how you have 55 yards between your sand and pitch. how far do you hit your 9? maybe your pitch is bent down to 45 degrees. if you had a shop take a degree or two off the SW and 52 then add a few to the PW you could get a dispersion of 90, 110 and 130. the only issue with adding another wedge is that you have to take something else out. maybe you can get by without it.

Played at Eisenhower today. Shot 74 and missed 6 birdie putts in a row from inside 20 feet. then to add insult, i bogeyed a par 5 number 18 with a 5 iron in my hand after bombing my drive 330. frustrating!

My sand wedge is 56 degrees with 10 degrees of bounce.

I hit my 9 iron 150.
