THE GAME: ttun @ tOSU, Sat Nov 26, 12pm, FOX

We will know everything we need to know after the first few drives.

If we can't stop their run game early? We certainly won't late.

They were the kings last year of pulling away HARD late and it's the same this year. So if they're going for 5 ypc early we have no damn shot late.

Likewise for our offense... this is a game where we do what we do best. In 2018 we torched their defense throwing the ball and we'll need to do the same in this game too.

Overall I'd be shocked if we entered this game flat. Ryan has always got revenge on team who have beat us and he's done so aggressive. So far we haven't won by less than 3 TDs when faced against teams who have beat us. I don't like the matchup overall if I'm being honest or our tendency to rotate too much on the DL. However, I think our team is more talented and has much more motivation.

Bucks 38- ttun 27.

Day and Stroud need to pass this test. Urban and Tressel were obsessed with this game..as was Woody. I know last year most fans were obsessed with the CFP and I wonder if the Coaches and players were more interested to wipe the bad taste of the Alabama game that they didn’t focus on scUm especially after trouncing MSU.

Maybe I am in the minority here but the Northwestern game brought some interesting things that I think can be used (and will be used) against Michigan. I think the Ohio State running game has to utilize Egbuka more on jet and has to have timely running from Stroud. Have Williams and Henderson get 100-125 yards after that and you got a good chance.

On defense, I think putting Simon in there more is going to be a requirement when Michigan game comes. Sometimes sitting in the suck (a game like Northwestern) has the ability to show you some things that come to help down the road.

I don't care how they stop it.... put 8-9 in the box every play if you have to. You can't let them do what they did to you last year. Load the box to stop Corum and the run, switch up looks, come after J.J. from different angles and make them take shots down the field to beat you. DB's need to step up their 1 v 1 game.... but would rather lose that way than just being bullied and gutted like last year. JMHO.

Shut your whore mouth. That's not happening. Not in our house.

WHAT IS A RIVALRY? A documentary on Ohio State vs. Michigan will debut on television for the first time on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET – perfectly sandwiched between the Buckeyes‘ matchup with Northwestern at noon and the Wolverines’ matchup with Rutgers at 7:30 p.m.

“RIVALS” tells the legendary history of The Game and looks at how Ohio State and Michigan formed the greatest rivalry in all of sport. The film also examines the psychology of a rivalry and the different attributes that make rivalries unique. The research and data presented in the documentary are based on findings from KnowRivalry.com, which set out to discover why humans are so enthralled with rivalries and what makes each rivalry unique.

Sinclair, the company behind the documentary, describes the two-hour feature like this:

RIVALS takes a comprehensive look back at the storied history between two of the top Division I football programs in NCAA history. Narrated by Academy Award-winning actor J.K. Simmons (who was born in Michigan but remains a rabid Ohio State fan), the show gleans the perspective of more than 30 others whose lives have been similarly impacted by the never-ending fight between the two schools. Among them are Archie Griffin, the only two-time Heisman Trophy winner; legendary players Dan Dierdorf and Keith Byars; broadcasters Rich Eisen and Joel Klatt; historians Jack Park and John Bacon; and veteran journalists from the Columbus, Ohio, and Ann Arbor, Michigan, markets, the homes of Ohio State and Michigan, respectively. The two-hour documentary reveals the science behind what makes a sports rivalry so compelling, how the matchup repeatedly delivers nail biting performances and why it has been historically revered as The Game.

And here's the trailer:

We received an advanced screening of the documentary at Eleven Warriors, and – while I can't speak for everyone here – I was locked in from about the five-minute mark until the credits rolled and the screen turned black. It was entertaining and insightful, and I believe it is a must-watch for even the most committed and passionate Ohio State fans.

The film premieres Saturday at 4 p.m. on Bally Sports Great Lakes and Bally Sports Ohio and 5 p.m. on Bally Sports Detroit. There will be many more opportunities to see it later in November as the documentary will reair on Bally Sports and the Tennis Channel. Eventually, the film will also land on the Big Ten Network, where it will premiere after The Game on Nov. 26. So if you would rather watch No. 1 Tennessee at No. 3 Georgia on Saturday – and I wouldn't blame you if you did – make sure to tune in later or record it for later viewing.

Also... if Edwards motions out wide they're throwing him the ball.

Bottom line is if we stop the run we win (providing turnover margin and special teams are even). We all know CJ is going for 300 in this game. So now it's a matter of can we stop their run. If we do we win and IMO it's that simple.

My dad's retirement is the week after The Game and I decided to be a good son and get us tickets for this one. Booked the flight and hotel right after getting tickets. The last time we went to The Game together we were both undefeated and ranked #1 and #2. That game went pretty well and I am hoping for the same result in this one. Man I am going to be hyped for roughly 2+ weeks for this one.

This is the 2 week weather pattern in a gif. If this actually happens, the weather for Thanksgiving weekend should be pretty damn good.
