THE GAME: ttun @ tOSU, Sat Nov 26, 12pm, FOX

My hunch is that Corum plays. Player said that under instructions from the coaches in the hopes that Knowles won't practice to face Corum. It's the stupid--look at how clever we are--mentality that those fucks live for.
My feeling that Corum really is hurt. However he will probably play and not be 100%.

They may catch OSU off guard with stuff not seen on film because of Corums limited use.

So they should be prepared for 100% Corum, and also prepared to make adjustments with any changes that happen because they are doing things differently.

He was hurt enough not to get put back in against Illinois outside of 1 carry, that game was very much up in the air, they needed him out there. Which makes me think he's more hurt than some want to think. He will probably come out dressed to play but if they do stick him in feels like he won't be very effective. They might try to use him as some kind of decoy or something though.

I honestly expect Corum to be a game-time decision. If he can play - even if he's only 80% - I would expect him out there. The weather is calling for 50-ish degrees and a 60% chance of rain.
I expect him to play. I just expect him to probably be limited as his advantages are his quickness, power and vision to see lanes and feet to cut to those lanes. If he can't cut and tries to Derrick Henry this one cut and go it severely limits his effectiveness.

Oh yea if there's any chance he can play at all he will be out there. Maybe not the best career decision for him, but that's how it's gonna go.

TTUN was on prior to OSU last weekend so I watched them for the first time all year. Watching warmups coming out of half. When he was trying to cut appeared to be the issue. He had one carry after the half for I think 5 yards, hit the hole no problem. He didnt limp off or look in pain, but obviously was as the Illinois game was still in question.

Yeah meanwhile the sideline reporter said he looked great in warmups. What did she watch?

23 OHIO STATE FOOTBALL PLAYERS TO PARTICIPATE IN SENIOR DAY FESTIVITIES BEFORE SATURDAY’S FINAL HOME GAME OF 2022 AGAINST MICHIGAN

135139_h.jpg

Notable players on the list include Ronnie Hickman, who is a redshirt junior in terms of eligibility even though he is a senior academically, and Marcus Crowley and Harry Miller, who will both walk on Senior Day even though both of them retired from football during the offseason for medical reasons.

In addition to Hickman, players on the Senior Day list who still have another year of eligibility thanks to the extra year of eligibility the NCAA gave all players in 2020 include Kamryn Babb, Taron Vincent, Javontae Jean-Baptiste, Zach Harrison, Xavier Johnson, Palaie Gaoteote, Cameron Brown, Josh Proctor, Tyler Friday, Matt Jones and Dawand Jones. While walking on Senior Day doesn’t guarantee that they will leave Ohio State after this season – Brown, Mitch Rossi and Bradley Robinson all walked last year before opting to return to Ohio State for another season – it is an indicator that all of them are at least thinking about moving on from Ohio State after this year.

Hickman is the only redshirt junior on the Senior Day list. While Ohio State could also lose several true juniors and redshirt sophomores to the NFL draft – namely C.J. Stroud, Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Paris Johnson Jr. – those Buckeyes are not eligible to participate in Senior Day festivities because they are only in their third year of college.

Ohio State Football: UM player accidentally gives info on injured running back

When asked about Corum, tackle Ryan Hayes said everyone will have to step up with him out, accidentally letting the world know that he probably won’t play in this game.

Could this be some misinformation thrown out? Of course. Everything is on the table when it comes to Ohio State/Michigan. If I’m Day, I’m still planning on seeing Corum suit up and play. He can’t leave any stone unturned in this matchup that will decide the fate of the Big Ten and maybe the College Football Playoff.

Ya think this was an honest slip up or "just bait" to lure Ohio State into thinking that Corum won't play, etc.?

Anyway, I'll bet that Hairbaugh won't be giving any Corum injury updates anytime before THE GAME.
