THE GAME: ttun @ tOSU, Sat Nov 26, 12pm, FOX

Honestly, knowing Buckeye fans, I was kind of surprised I didn’t hear calls for Day’s head last year. If he loses again this year I’ll be shocked if I don’t see it. The guys on the radio have reported seeing calls to fire Day on Twitter after some game this year (maybe Northwestern?) but I don’t follow Twitter and don’t put much stock on what any rando says on there.

I’m always concerned about The Game. The only time I wasn’t was in 2009, RichRod’s last year, where they were so bad that thousands of Weasel fans sold their tickets to Buckeyes and the Big Hole was crowded in scarlet. That O-H-I-O chant going around their stadium was a beautiful thing.

I’m still concerned this year, but they’ve been building for this and overall I feel pretty confident. They obviously didn’t have the same energy on Saturday as Maryland did but I expect them to be fully jacked this week. They’ve had constant reminders all year about how they were “soft” in last year’s game, and they were. They should be pumped up like Bo’s first team was in ‘69, or like the Bucks were in ‘70. They have the edge on talent and they have the advantage of playing at home. I don’t expect 42-14. I don’t expect a perfect game. But I expect them to show up and play a complete game from start to finish with energy and toughness. Hit them hard and see how they fall.

And for God’s sake, when they need 1 freaking yard, line up, run it up the middle and get it. Championship teams can do that.

If I see another slow developing stretch run on 4th and short I might throw the remote through the TV.

If the line of the game is 7-9 Vegas knows Corum is playing... if it spikes to double digits, they have the inside skinny he's out.. Vegas always knows

I have zero doubt they will try to trot him out there.

As a running back who is very reliant on quick sharp cuts though, any kind of knee hinderance is going to be very handicapping.
