THE GAME: ttun @ tOSU, Sat Nov 26, 12pm, FOX

Why I decided to work any day this week is beyond me. Ain’t happening.

Kill them and leave no doubt. Hang 800. I want them to crawl back to the bus and cry the entire way back to that dumpster fire in AA. I want Brutus to play the drums with JJ’s bones after JT rips them from his body.

For those worried about the weather forecast, I already checked it for you… it shows nothing but a 100% chance of pain for them.

Go Bucks.

Thanks for writing this year’s Christmas card for me!

Bring in Urban for Senior Tackle to play the role of Earle (RIP) and get the team fired up.
Ryan Day just said on Buckeye Roundtable that they’re moving Senior Tackle to Bowl practice when they’ll have more time. John Cooper says he thinks that’s a great idea. I’m not sure I agree. Tressel and Meyer used it as an opportunity to fire up the team. They both did pretty well against TTUN. My initial reaction is if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Anybody see the news piece with the quote from a TTUN lineman, basically saying Corum is out.

I don't believe that one for anything.
I heard about it on the radio this morning but apparently it came in response to a question about what it Corum can’t play on Saturday so it was in response to a hypothetical. It came from Ryan Hayes who is a fifth year player. He’d know better than to give anything away.

I think this is the source of the confusion:

This is less sensational and makes more sense:

I am sure that they are practicing like Corum is going to be 100%.

Time goes by, that first Senior Tackle seems like yesterday.

SENIOR TACKLE
A last practice of the year tradition since 1913 where the seniors hit the blocking sled one final time. For many years it was held following the last practice prior to the season finale with Michigan. But depending upon the Buckeyes’ bowl obligation, it has sometimes been moved to the last home practice before the team departs for its bowl obligation.

First of all what's senior tackle?

If your parents were Ohio State fans, they failed you

If you’re over 30, you also have failed

Senior Tackle - In 1913, after the final practice, Dr. John Wilce (then head coach at OSU) was asked by his players if they could have one last hit on the blocking sled. This event has changed from a public to a private affair (and back again) various times over the years. Generally it was held before the final game (usually Michigan) but has since taken place before a bowl trip in front of family and friends.
