Clempson really fucked them by losing today. You could see their strategy for putting them in. Before their epicly bad loss to unranked Notre Dame, Carolina and Clempson were the only ones ranked from the ACC. All the sudden Notre Dame is in the top 15, they're in the top 10 and there's 3 other ACC teams in there.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if they put Bama in only because SEC and they haven't played Georgia. Even with 2 losses and no championship.

There’s a sport made for you. It’s called college basketball. There you can celebrate just making the field as if you actually accomplished something without ever winning a championship of any kind.

First, I see your point about the we thing... Even though I hate you just as much as you seem to hate me.

However, I'm not sure if demise is quite right. I suggest you find a Thesaurus. Or history book. Ohio State is most likely going to the Rose Bowl (granted half of our fanbase will probably be blind after watching Oregon in whatever uniforms they choose). Have you ever been to the Rose Bowl? It's actually the best bowl game. Even cooler than the current NC (yep drove down to see one of those as well). I'm not saying going to LA for the NC in the new stadium wouldn't be amazing. But, even if the game itself isn't good, the honor of going is fantastic.

So if Ohio state's demise means going to The Rose Bowl, I'll take it. I'd just like a word with the Ducks uniform designer....

I don't really follow basketball, but it seems to me there is a big difference between the NCAA tournament and the 4 team college football playoff. I really can't understand how anyone can sit around and say they don't want their team to have a chance to win a championship if it is a possibility.

That just sounds awful....

I guess count me in for hoping we back into the playoffs. At least the team might play without the opt outs.

So yeah maybe we get spanked again but at least the game means something.
