THEN THEY WEREN'T TRYING.

Go 4 wide, go under center, do jet sweeps, do counters, do read options, do speed options, run wildcat. LITERALLY DO ANYTHING to protect our defense which was struggling.

Yet we continued to throw the damn ball. Rag on me all you want but we couldn't run the ball on the 34th ranked run defense when we were the #1 YPC offense. WE PANICED.

Okay, go get a jacket on. It's cold out. Go out on the porch and scream these things as loud as you can. Maybe your neighbors want to hear your straw man army. Maybe they are masochistic. Who knows?

We missed Harry Miller IMO…..run game was just bad all year. Only reason people weren’t crazy bitching is bc Henderson could bust a huge one once in a while.

Our run game has been really awful all year otherwise. Like really bad. A few good plays doesn’t make a unit good.

It showed today.

I feel for Stroud who played his ass off. He was great today. I wish he got called on even more. We wasted a lot of downs trying to force the run when even if the call was good, our line just can’t block for it……I hated some of our run calls today. It was hard to watch at times.

Felt like Day was trying to show he wasn’t going to lose patience no matter what…..when he probably should’ve just said “fuck the run game we are throwing it 100 times today”.
