Anyone considering a 2 score game in this day an age a blow out is crazy.
To me its more than the final score board. Its that for there last 5-6 drives they just mercifully ran the ball down our throats. We all knew play after play what was coming and they didn't step up and stop it. Also without that pick on the goal line early this game does turn ugly on the scoreboard. Total asswhipping IMO

That's manhandling and it doesn't feel good. But it's not a blowout. Bama was a blowout. Oregon and TTUN you never felt like you were going to stop them but if you could you had a chance cause with our O. Put it this way had Olave caught that TD and we scored that last drive we would have lost by 4. I have no faith we stop them from driving down our throat to run the clock out. However I bet a whole lot of people would have been saying we were this close etc etc.. The difference is we were't stopping them. The one 3 and out in the first half made you feel like hey stop them and we run away with it. But they never did that again

Manhandled is worse than anything IMO. Shows you don't want it and that the coaching is to stupid or stubborn to change.

I was playing it pretty cool until scUM fans on the socials started going after me for simply having a block 'O' as my profile pic. I dont trash talk on socials, it gets you nowhere.
anyhooters,
this one stung pretty hard obviously but what absolutely bothered me, as I said a few times in the thread, Why the hell werent the LBs and secondary even attempting to AVOID the blockers? who at half time, when its time to save your season, didnt come out and instruct their players to fly to the gap or ball carrier? the OC's at Michigan had it EASY today. LBs 8 yards off of the ball and letting fat ass offensive tackles push them into the secondary? EASY 7 yards. Send one guard or TE outside to absolutely naturalize the CB? EASY first down. Its saying something when the safety has to make every play on the outside.
the other big thing. I know that the O Line had a hell of a day, but c'mon the play calling on the offensive side was questioned 5 or 6 times a drive at least. I know these OC's like to be cheeky and have the next play already lined up before the current play is even called in, but holy crap. when 97 in blue lined up somewhere, or wasnt in the game, it needed to be taken advantage of. there were times where he wasnt even in the game, and a HB dive was called.. wtf no! let Stroud get a breather in the pocket and do what we do best and air it out.
end of the day this is all hindsight and im not a coach at one of the best football schools in the country. but man a lot of stuff to unpack and fix.

basically the defense isnt coached worth a damn
and Ryan Day has a Ferrari and chose to drive it in a school zone all day.

please ignore this, its just a rant and Im just a dumb boy

Yep there were numerous times our guys would catch the blocker or the runner instead of playing down hill. Giving up 7-9 on when should have been 2 or 3
