The Game, tOSU at ttun, Nov. 27th,12pm FOX (3654 down to 0)

Not about to go back and check, but did anyone see Tyliek out there much/ever? They badly miss Tommy.

The struggles at DE are well documented, but a proper nose (and Haskell in his proper spot) could have changed a lot.

I noticed him out there one drive where he was held on 3 different plays. Beyond that, I didn’t see him much.

Did Harbaugh really just say something about being born on third and thinking they hit a triple?

If so, this should keep the fires warm for the next 365 days. This could be fun!
He just can't keep his mouth shut:

Here I thought they were the leaders and best. I didn't realize this was West Virginia.

I like Ryan Day as a head coach - a lot.

But the fact remains that he is now 1-1 vs scUM and 1-2 in bowl games. It's still early for Day, but Urban Meyer was 7-0 vs scUM and 5-2 in bowl games with a national championship (in year 3), and Jim Tressel was 9-1 vs scUM and 6-4 in bowl games with a national championship (in year 2). Ryan Day is clearly behind that curve.

And surprisingly, Day is not a very good play caller - very little creativity and insists on pounding the ball inside when neither his RB nor his OL is designed for power football.

All of the above is in addition to the defensive woes that have plagued this team in 2020 and 2021.

There's still time for Day to prove that he's a great coach, but that time is already running out. 2022 has to be OUR YEAR, or else it's not going to happen with Ryan Day.
Calls for Luke Fickell are echoing across social media this evening. Obviously, Day isn't getting fired but if chose to leave and Fickell replaced him I wouldn't be mad.

The only way Day would leave is if the NFL (Chicago?) came calling. I doubt that happens, so he needs to get started on addressing the weaknesses exposed today.

Jeez you to make fun or spoiled Bama and Clemson fans then you go off like this. He's a young coach there will be some bumps we didn't have with Meyer but also he's not been blown the fuck out by Purdue.

He's been to the playoffs twice and lost one Big Ten game guys. With all the defensive issues etc. IF he turns u into Oklahoma sure make a change but allow him to try to fix this first.

This program is showing some of the same signs that the post-Stoops Oklahoma did....literally awful defense, good to great offense and the ability to be dominated on the lines sometimes.

Maybe Ryan Day = Lincoln Riley?

I said it earlier. Hate to use this word but losses make this fanbase go full retard.

New here, been a Buckeyes fan all my life, born and raised in Cbus. Went to games as a kid with Woody at the helm.

Today? Very disappointing game.

Seems we couldn't adjust, or didn't adjust, on either side of the ball. It also looked like we had no intensity at least compared to TTUN. Didn't feel like a win was coming our way from the very beginning.

Day put together a good offense, but the defense isn't championship caliber. Also thought the o-line was never what everyone kept saying.

If you're going to lose your first conference game, TTUN ain't the one to lose to.

scUM's defense had more to do with it....when you're dropping 2 deep safeties 30 yards on a lot of plays, it's hard to go big over the top.

They dared OSU to be patient and beat them with runs and short passes. Bucks couldn't make them pay for that strategy by running all over them.

Michigan won the LOS most of the day, on both sides of the ball. That was it in a nutshell.
