Calls for Luke Fickell are echoing across social media this evening. Obviously, Day isn't getting fired but if chose to leave and Fickell replaced him I wouldn't be mad.

The only way Day would leave is if the NFL (Chicago?) came calling. I doubt that happens.

I don't think anyone has suggested (at least not on BP) that Day needs to go.

However, quite a few of us are questioning whether Day is the next Urban Meyer, or whether he's a Pat Fitzgerald/Kirk Ferentz with better talent.
