The Game, tOSU at ttun, Nov. 27th,12pm FOX (3654 down to 0)

Do you guys think Day is emphasizing the rivalry to the same extent as Tressel and Urban? Maybe he is but I haven't really picked up on it. I know he says he is but...

Tressel and Urban understood the rivalry. Day is from New Hampshire and didn't really have any connections before coming here a few years ago. I know it's only his first loss but I was a little concerned with the noticeable lack of energy from the team early on. Usually guys are getting in fights or scrums from the first kickoff. This time scum came out with juice and then jawed with our guys at half time. Felt like we were flat.
Yes he is

Can we still make the playoff ? Please say yes
Yes, if:

Alabama loses to Auburn
Georgia beats Alabama
Houston beats Cincinnati
Wisconsin/Iowa beats Michigan
Bedlam winner loses to Baylor
Michigan State loses to Penn State
Louisiana Doesn’t win the Sun Belt
Budweiser stops tasting like horse piss
North Macedonia qualifies for the World Cup
Union Berlin wins the Bundesliga
The Guardians and Pirates each spend 100M in free agency
The Edsel makes a comeback
Chicago State wins the NCAA tournament

Sawyer and JT played quite a bit I believe. Not sure about Tyliek.
Sawyer did not get enough play. He should have been in there the whole time after the first quarter but he was in few plays. JTT got a little more but also not enough. Sawyer never loses contain and I think the LBs would have been in better shape with him in there, just not 5 to 7 yards off the ball.

Day waxed their asses 56-27 two years ago and would have went in dry last year. I don't think it's a matter of him getting it so much as his program is hamstrung by a subpar defensive coaching staff. He needs to make major upgrades on that side of the ball.

Did you not witness the asswhipping he put on SCUM in 2019? That’s a game Cooper would’ve found a way to make close. Also SCUM always usually comes in fired up while we look a little stunned. It’s happened in every version of the game save for 2018 when, surprisingly, the Buckeyes jumped all over SCUM. 2016 was down by double digits most of the game and 2017 was down by TDs at one point before Haskins came in and saved the day.

Maybe in the first quarter there was a lack of juice but from then on SCUM just played better.
