*ICHIGAN CAME IN PLAYING FOR ALL THE MARBLES. IT WAS THEIR BOWL GAME, THEIR CHANCE TO UPSET A PERFECT RECORD. THIS WIN IS ALWAYS GOOD WHETHER BY 40 OR 1 POINT. GOOD GAME AND WE ARE 24 AND 0 WITH URBAN MEYER.

If they cant cover anyway, at least with added pressure there will at least be a chance for a negative play, especially with a QB like Gardner. I would like to see the stats this year on the average gain when the defense rushes three, verses the average gain when the defense rushes five or more. I bet that would be telling. I might be wrong, but after watching every game this year, my gut tells me that, looking at it objectively, there is no logical reason for this particular team should ever rush three and droop eight.
