One other thing to remember, is that a blowout would very easily have been dismissed and forgotten by ichigan an as the inevitable likelihood of playing the number three team in the country. Though what's left of my circulatory system might disagree, I think this win was close to perfect - it included a brawl, it was a nail-biter, it crushed the Wolverine hopes in the last seconds, and the Buckeyes beat them in AA.

This rivalry really needed something to breathe life back into it, and I think this did it.

For people who are upset with this win, take a second and realize that OSU just went back-to-back undefeated in the regular season. Just think about that for a second. Then tonight or tomorrow worry about what will happen to them next game or whenever. No one should have the idea that this team is perfect or without some serious flaws. That just makes the 24 game win streak that much sweeter.

This game was ugly and the defense played below the standard that has been set for this program.

BUT...

This game was a classic. It will be replayed and recounted for years, and when it is we will all stop to look and listen instead of having to turn away from it. That's a wonderful thing.
