However, when a team put more than 600 yards of offense on you and scores more points than they scored against Michigan State, Nebraska, and Iowa combined, then I think our coaches have a lot to think about. This team was shocking on defense today, perhaps shown best by a one-legged Gardner leaving Roby to pick up his jock strap.

Ohio State will not score like this on Michigan State, which will be the best defense that they face all year. The hill is looking pretty steep to me right now.

Winning The Game is the season and there is a reason why they say throw out the season records. But, that was an embarrassing performance. I am most thankful that they were given an opportunity to keep TSUN from winning in the end. They at least have that to build on.

One other thing to remember, is that a blowout would very easily have been dismissed and forgotten by ichigan an as the inevitable likelihood of playing the number three team in the country.
