Game Thread THE GAME: tOSU at TSUN, Nov 30 @ 12p ET, ABC

Every game this year we have gotten the best from the other team. Most teams we've played this year had 2 weeks to prepare for us. And we still beat them! There are only 2 undefeated teams left right now. At seasons end there will likely be only one.

Not gonna worry about the B(shit)CS or any of the other crap today.
The Bucks beat scUM, heading to a tough game against Sparty For the B1G Championship, they are 24-0, and Johnny pumpkinstick probably blew what little chance he had to be mentioned in the same breath as Archie.
It's a great day to be part of Buckeye Nation, and I'm going to enjoy THAT!!
The rest of it will be what it is.
GO BUCKS!!
BEAT SPARTY!!

So at what point in this discussion will you bother to answer the first sentence, Jeff? Who are these "great" teams? Because I'm unsure if I see any, and I certainly don't see more than one.
You're the one who inserted Mr. Strawman into the argument, so I really don't feel any need to "answer" to that. I'm focusing on Ohio State's lack of greatness, not anyone else's.

Boise State beat the same Oregon team that was good enough to get to the Rose Bowl before tOSU played them. They also smashed Georgia as well.

I feel the term "great" is widely over-used. However they at one time, were a quality team.
You might be right - Boise State might have been a great team at one time. In fact, I tend to agree with you. However, very few Buckeye fans gave Boise State any credit for their accomplishments (130-15 record from 2002 to 2012, .897 winning percentage, two perfect seasons), including their two BCS bowl victories. By the way, only one Big Ten team has more BCS bowl victories than Boise State - that would be Ohio State with six, while Michigan and Wisconsin each have two.

This team begs to differ.

The Buckeyes are working on two decades of dominance over the skunkbears and people are finding things to bitch about.

When the hell did a portion of Buckeye Nation decide to become a bunch of fucking EMO kids? I know people have a tough time dealing with things that are new and different, especially when they have never seen it before, but THE BUCKEYES being 24-0 shouldn't be one of them!

Absolutely, this has gotten ridiculous. A great win, AGAIN, against our rival who brought their A+ game. You had to absolutely expect they would. Pumpkin enjoy the ride. I think success is breeding contempt here.

How anyone can consider Auburn a great team is beyond me. Bama and FSU schedules were realistically as poor as ours. Johnny Fubar and Taj Boyd were exposed along with their teams.

GO BUCKS!

A lot of the bad things that happened yesterday can be put on the refs allowing the two teams to "just play". No holding calls. Refs not stepping in to stop the pushing early. I expect that the refs will be stricter in the Big championship game to prevent another black eye for the national perception of the Big. But maybe I'm over-thinking the ref inaction/actions. The refs have been pretty consistent in "letting teams play" this year. Indy will be another "street fight". That's how Sparty plays. All we can do is match Sparty's intensity.
A lot of things that happened yesterday can be blamed on the fact that it's THE GAME. If it was supposed to be easy then it would just be called THE WAY.
I'm gonna come right out and say it: The closeness of THE GAME was because Ohio State wore white fucking pants. Quit fucking with the traditions and put on the big boy Gray pants! The shinier, the better!

A win over scUM is always cause for celebration. Now win and we are IN.
