THE GAME, tOSU at tCun, Sat. 11/25, 12pm ET, FOX

I don’t think anyone ignores the other inefficiencies but the fact remains that our defense/special teams would not have to be perfect if our offense was better. Our defense has played lights out this year, even this game. Our offense another story-Sometimes it has been playing calling and drops, but mostly it’s been bad QB play and the offensive line. Today, it was mostly QB play (which has been a constant when we’ve been bad -ok this year).
Pretty much agree. It's be nice if the D got more sacks in general, and obviously you'd like to see them get off the field at the end earlier, but still they gave 30 points in a game where the offense basically gave up 7. That's not insurmountable. The offense only scored 20 points a game in their 3 biggest games. McCord and the o-line just weren't good enough. McCord has 5 or 6 throws a game that are just awful. I am guessing Urban with his o-lines and a good running game, calls a timeout, yells at his players to get 1 fucking yard, then goes for it on that 4th and 1 from the 45. I don't know what to say about the ST. It's a joke

Yeah, I’m not liking that. I’m with Day for one more year, but he can’t lose next year. No complaints regardless of the personnel. I don’t even care if we lose to Michigan and win a natty with the new playoffs/format. He has to win this game to remain coach. But this one wasn’t his fault.
What about the year before this one? And the year before that?

He lost against UM's OL coach. There was no Harbaugh on the sideline. There was no Stalions. This was his last chance, in my eyes.

Are we going to roll out with Day on the sideline and McCord at QB again? If that's the case, make it four in a row now.

Three years in a row now.

It's time to move on.

I agree the past two were on him/defense (which he is in charge of). I just don’t think this game was on him. From what i saw the defense put the offense in shouting distance and they didn’t make enough noise. When I look at the plays, dudes were open. Somebody just didn’t get it there….
