THE GAME, tOSU at tCun, Sat. 11/25, 12pm ET, FOX

People should just settle down about Day because absolutely NOTHING is happening to him. We have an interim President and a lame duck AD. They aren't making that change. He's on the hot seat for next year, so we'll see what happens and how the new regime responds if things go South.
This, and he will beat a decrepit Michigan team next year and all will be well. Never seen so many moral victory OSU fans. “Well, it wasn’t as bad as the last few years”-ass fans

. I didn’t want Mason and I knew very little about Tressel. Walt Harris I wasn’t a fan of and Bob Stoops was pretty much the only one I thought was the best candidate. Stoops would have been great here but I think Tressel was the right choice for that time in CFB.

I was all aboard the Tressel train. I was worried they were going to go with Fred Pagac or Mason at the time.

So by the "next name has to be guaranteed better" you are proposing then we should have kept Cooper.

I’m not defending McCord but I will defend Day and his staff. This was not them today. This was execution. He can’t make Kyle progress reads. And the yards were pretty much even between the teams. The difference was the 2 TO and a missed FG, which happen edits mostly because we can’t trust our QB….

Neither INT was on McCord.....

I could accept today if JT and UM hadn’t shown us the impossible.
To play Devils advocate, many of those Michigan teams were shit. The teams Cooper coached against were inferior talent, but they weren’t shit. The DickRod and Hoke teams were mostly hot garbage.

Now, do I think Tressel and Urban win today? Resounding yes, if for no other reason than they made sure they had the special teams to win games like these, and made sure of it all season long. But it’s an apples to oranges comparison, really.

eh. People keep saying that about the first INT. I think Johnson just defended it perfectly and Marv figured only an idiot would throw the ball there. He just didn't expect to have an idiot for a QB.

Again, it's 1 2 throw. Marv cannot let a defender cross his face.

Yes the scUM kid made a play. But Marv barely fought for the ball.

I disagree. The weaknesses today were the weaknesses they've displayed in every single game the entire season. There was nothing here today that was unexpected. Today was what this team is. Good, bad, ugly, indifferent. This was the team all year. And it wasn't good enough. There's nothing that cost us this game that hasn't been said repeatedly all season long by pundits, media, people on this board. Everyone.

Today's performance is just what this team is, whether we like it or not.
This. Somebody early in the 2nd quarter said we had to HOPE scUM loses it. We weren’t winning it. Frustrating watching when you knew we were coming up short without HELP.

The D didn't lose this game. My fucking goodness people need to get a grip

A brutal interception by the offense, poor special teams, and TCUN scoring on every second half possession lost this game.

It wasn't any one thing. They were just the better team today.
