Fuck it let’s hire some no name coach because it worked out last time is certainly a take.

Some math for the Day is Cooper posters. Let’s ignore the COVID year when Harbaugh bitched out. Lets’s ignore the cheating. 1-3 is a much better record than 2-10-1. Like he is two consecutive losses from getting there.

IF we get there (I don’t think we will) let’s talk. Hell I’m ready to talk if we lose next year. But Day is statistically better than any other alternative by most measures.

No shit. However, the ball to Ebuka is catachable. It was a tough catch, but catchable. Ebuka's first drop was awful too.

McCord isn't the cause of this, much like Stroud wasn't. People just blame the QB.....

It wasn't necessarily late. It was late for how he threw it. He needed to put it on a line or leave it short and stop Egbuka to protect him from the hit. It's something CJ was amazing at.

being a quick throw is irrelevant when Johnson had position before McCord ever let go of the ball. When your absolute best case scenario is your WR breaks up the INT, that's not a pass you throw unless you decide where you're going with the ball before you snap it.

Here's my crackpot analysis now that I've had a little time to breathe:

- We need more nastiness on the OL and depth on the DL. Those are two areas we were glaringly behind ttun today.
- Ryan Day needs to find a play caller. I've never been a fan of a HC being to into one side of the ball on gameday. He needs to trust someone to take that off his plate and be a CEO ala Tress/Urban
- I was a little harsh on Knowles earlier when the D couldn't get off the field on their GW drive. The D has been excellent overall this year and played well enough to win today.
- Back to Day's playcalling...it can be brilliant at times, but far too often in big games he turtles when the situation requires a stone cold killer.
- I like Kyle McCord. I'm sure he's a terrific kid and he's a pretty decent QB. But, and this is just my feeling watching him the last 12 weeks, I'm not sure he has the "it" factor it takes to win this kind of game. He's a sizeable dopoff from Haskins, Fields, and Stroud, talent-wise.

Next year will be, probably, the defining year of the Day era when it comes to The Game. It's in Columbus, their roster will be gutted of the guys that beat us 3 straight, and they could be under heavy sanctions.

We lost the "they cheated" get outta jail card today. There's no good excuse for losing this one. None.

I do not think Day has the assassin mentality JT or Urban did wrt The Game. He says all the right things, but you are what your record says you are, and he's wearing 3 straight L's as of right now. Time to nut up and fix it or get the hell on.

Wrong as I've explained. The first INT was mostly the scUM kid making a play and Marv being outmuscled by a smaller player.

Timing plays aren't reads. Blame the playcall if you want (I found it curious too), but Marv has to not let the defender cross his face....the lack of physicality there is a problem.

The one where they took ~7 minutes off the clock and kick the FG to go up 6. At some point The D needed to but up and get them off the field.
