I refuse to listen to anyone taking the “we need each other/they are a worthy adversary” angle anymore.

They are like Notre Dame and France. Big names from the past that are second rate powers today no matter what their pompous believers think.

These past two years were a complete mirage.

Fuck *ichigan. There is no respect anymore. They are the Affluenza kid of college football.

There's no reason to believe that these cheating fucks have stopped or will stop until they nuke the current coaching and support staff.

They sold their soul for this very moment, and anyone thinking they won't be willing to do anything to keep this season alive is kidding themselves.

Unfortunately this is a must win for Day and this team, and they have to figure out how to come away from that shithole with a W. No two ways about it.

I think an underrated side effect of them stealing signs is that JJ is pretty lost without being told exactly where to go with the ball.

When a player relies on the staff for the 1 read play call they stop developing how to go through their progressions.

That’s what we are seeing now without the signs. Michigan didn’t know how to protect JJ vs Penn State and then didn’t have any answers for Maryland.

As long as we avoid the dumb turnover/mistake I think we are going to force turnovers too.

If we play a clean game I think we make a statement.

Call me crazy but are they really much better (if at all) than ND?

ND, IMO has a much better OL compared to TCUN. While Hartman isn’t as talented as JJ he’s far less prone to turn the ball over. I think TCUN has better talent at WR but I just don’t think that matters because I think our secondary is the best in the country.

Also ND, IMO has a better back 7 on defense. I don’t think the linebackers at Michigan are all that good and while Will Johnson is good I think ND has a much better duo of corners.

Seriously am I crazy to think they’re not all that different to ND?

Certainly some similarities. Big, strong on the the DL and OL, with some talented players at RB. But TTUN OL
has some injuries and the OT on both sides of the ball are suspect. What was last years strength is becoming a weakness as the season winds down. They are really strong in the middle on Defense though. Better than ND imho. Johnson and the guy who got two Int's versus Maryland are really good players.
But, overall, we have better players and I think we have better coaches. Tough ST coach is a weakness. We are also peaking and hitting our stride at the right time. Playing our best ball of the year. Since TTUN can't cheat like before they have been struggling.
Great thing is that our D is the best in the BIG. And our O is as well. I'm feeling really good about this game.

ND OL > TCUN

But otherwise yes I agree the TCUN DL > ND

I think our ability to rest up these last few weeks will be a major benefit. If we can score early I really like our ability to lean on them. Just have to avoid spotting them an early lead

Like mentioned before the ND game, the wisky game and the Penn st game were all matchups that mirror this game. Our boys are tested and ready to go. This will be their 6th road trip of the season. That doesn't even sound real
