so today I'm hanging at work and this dude walks into my shop wearing his M*ch*g*n hat and jacket. Catches me completely off guard, and I'm wishing it were last week when I was wearing all my Buckeye gear. Anyway, I'm thinking about talking a bunch of shit, but I figure with this tool actually wearing the apparel, it won't make a difference. So I do what I need to and as he goes to leave he says thanks and I say "Go Buckeyes" and walk the other way, dude is walking off too and laughs and says "Yeah" with a smile, only to turn his head and realize what I actually fucking said, eyes to the ground in shame.

What the fuck that guy was thinking is beyond me. Fuck M*ch*g*n. Go Buckeyes.

I'm rewatching THE GAME right now and McGuffie just got blasted. I love watching games multiple times to catch things I missed before.

I hadn't seen Beanie use Stevie Brown to get off the ground after the first touchdown run. He pushes Stevie down and the ref looks curiously at Beanie as if he might throw a flag, but never pulls the trigger. Good call on that one Grad.

On McGuffie's concussion hit, he is absolutely lost walking back to the bench. Boubacar Cissoko actually helps McGuffie to the sideline, and has to take the football out of McGuffie's hand. The ref is waiting for the football from Sam to spot it, and Sam is just lost.

According to Paul Maguire, McGuffie became a senior after that hit, so it appears his eligibility has now run out.

I'm glad we'll be seeing that dude 3 more years. Easily the most over-rated back in the Big 10. Michigan was much more effective all season long with Minor in the game, but McGuffie hurdles some tool in high school and people are ready to annoint him the savior of the Michigan football program??? HA! Spitler/Homan/Sabino will be lighting him up for 3 more years!

What McGuffie did with NO O-LINE and NO PASSING GAME as a FRESHMAN is pretty decent. I couldn't disagree with you more about him being the most over rated back in the Big Ten. Sure he was hyped out of high school, but nobody is hyping him right now except Michigan fans. He's a good back...and I don't doubt he'll struggle against Ohio State for the next three years. Spitler, Homan, and Sabino will stop him. BUT, other than in The Game, he's going to be a good back.

Trust me...NO running back would have had a good season at Michigan this year.
