Game Thread THE GAME: Ohio State 42, Michigan 7 (Nov. 22)

Just thinking about TP's 1st quarter INT. I think he did it on purpose, he just wanted to hit somebody. Watch the clip above and listen to the hit he puts on the DB. :slappy:

They didn't show it on TV, but like 5 seconds after the play is over a scUM player runs down and pushes TP over in front of the ref.

FIVE OR ONE? Rodriguez didn't seem to like being asked about the program losing five straight to the Buckeyes.
"I've been here for one of 'em," Rodriguez said. "So, that's the only one I can really comment on. They've got one in a row on us, from what I see."

To follow up what a few others pointed (notably Oh8ch), I find that comment kind of bizarre. In one casual comment, he just distanced himself from the legacy and tradition that is Michigan football, and made it about himself. Wow, just wow.

Yeah that was a personal foul all the way and a flag should have been thrown. The whole area where we were at were in disbelieve that there was no call.

Yeah, I was surprised, but looking back on it, they let both teams get away with some things that were obvious personal fouls. It was awesome.

JL threw a punch.

So we obviously own those weenies...but after watching this NEW highlight video (which I have to say is really really good) you will see how much we just physically beat them down. Wasn't Barwis supposed to do something about this?

Enjoy this video - Jenkins throwing the dude down is bad-a$$!!

So because I got randomly negged for the second time regaurding a certain post from yesterdays game I figured I'd apologize for being a bit negative yesterday at the half. I was heating to say the least. The blind side blitzes, the negative rushing plays, and the lack of diversity was really [censored]ing me off to say the least. To me I was just upset that the offense was making the same errors as they were weeks and weeks ago, but apparently I went to far.

I shouldn't have probably said the whole teams performance was pathetic or something along those lines but it was just a heat of the moment thing ya know. Rivalry game, in the shoe, BCS bowl hopes on the line and I didn't think before I posted. So sorry bout that guys, and Go Bucks!

Reminds me of his "i've only been here 9/10 months" comments. It's all about DickRod, just like it was when he was at WVU. He actually expects everyone to believe he inherited eastern michigan or something. Never mind he ran off a 5* qb with starting experience and his best returning ol. He's at [censored]ing michigan, if he can't take the talent they get just for being UM and beat a really bad (fire the coach bad) MAC team, is there any reason to expect him to turn it around?

The fact the windchill was single-digits and everyone was wearing gloves couldn't have had an influence on muting the applause, could it? Or the fact we were playing a truly dreadful team?

I thought the fans were fine. I have my usual Sunday morning laryngitis, as I suspect most fans at the game now have.

Yes it did, had the weather been warmer, I'm sure that it would have been even louder.

Go Blue! Ohio State is at the end of their cycle, Michigan WILL win next year, and for the years to follow. MARK MY WORDS!
Typical Michigan fan - as arrogant as ever after a 3-9 season and an epic beatdown in The Game ... with a team in total disarray and a coach who is (at best) a complete mismatch for the program.

FYI, the Buckeyes will actually be far more talented (albeit largely unproven) in 2009-2010 than they were in 2004-2008, so the gap between the two teams will be growing not shrinking. Yeah, good luck, best wishes, and all that, but I don't see the streak ending any time soon ... although it is a rivalry game, so anything can happen, I guess....

Anyway, enjoy your stay on BuckeyePlanet ... with some luck you might make it to the next Game.

Uh huh. You know that Jim Tressel has more victories at The Big House than Rich Rodriguez?

End of our cycle? Dumb ass, the past six years was just a warm up! This team is going to be so loaded through the next three or four seasons at least you'll be begging for mercy. You'll fondly remember 42-7 and long for the days Tressel only beat you by 35.
