Apparently you fail to grasp the essence of "we lost fair and square." We're 12-2 in the last 14 games. No need to massage the stats, because we don't need to stoop to that level. We're not TTUN. We're THE Ohio State University.

OK, Rain Man, one last time. I understand we lost "we lost fair and square" in 2011, but that was due to exceptional circumstances, i.e., the lack of a permanent established head coach. Our last two true head coaches (no offense to Fickell, but I'm sure he knew he was unlikely to last past the one season) have been top-flight coaches who took The Rivalry extremely seriously, perhaps above all other goals for the program. And as long as we have such a head coach, we will likely continue to dominate the series. That is why I specifically noted the stipulation of when they were the head coach as part of the 12-1 claim, and not "massaging the stats".

One more terrible offense made to look unstoppable by a Luke Fickle defense that always seems to bring out the best in opposing offenses. Whatever it would take for The head coach to realize that he can not win championships with Fickle, I am rooting for it in the next two games.
