I couldn't agree more. We look like a Big XII team - score 50+ against the scrubs, get bogged down against physical teams (PSU, MSU, UM).

Here's the problem on offense. No Herman, Zeke, Marshall, Thomas, Smith, and Decker. JT and Cardale of course are gonna look like the best QBs on earth with those guys around them.

We had these guys and underachieved last year.

Yep. I had two things on my list. Coincidentally, the first was to watch our offensive coaching staff find ways to piss doen their legs worse than against Michigan State.

Considering the playcalling so far, the staff clearly doesn't trust JT to make a throw over 10 yards, and honestly I can't blame them right now. If you can't trust your QB to make a throw over 10 yards... maybe make a change at QB?

I love JT to death, but he has been off quite frankly this entire season.

Again, what makes you think Burrow can do it? JT didn't have too many problems completely balls over 10 yards when Herman was the coach. Neither did Cardale. Suddenly both can barely complete a damn pass when Beck and Warriner take over.

@redguard117 Exactly, the win in Norman set my expectations way too high. At this point we're a 2002 type team, nothing wrong with that but it's awfully hard to win in this age of CFB grinding it out.

The problem is we regressed literally every game. This is an entirely different team than the one that crushed Oklahoma in Norman. With good coaching, the trend should be that we get better over the year.

I don't think it is though. OSU only passed for 140 against them. Oklahoma just has a terrible D. It just reinforced the coaches thoughts that they were doing something right.
