We all knew (or should have known) that Ohio State needed Barrett to play at a Heisman level in order to have any chance at a championship.

Barrett hasn't played that way in the biggest games (PSU, MSU, and UM so far). Unless Barrett turns it around in the second half, stick a fork in those NC dreams.

Never was a fan of the "it's an honor just to be nominated" BS. Screw that. I've NEVER gone back and watched the NC games we lost. At whatever point I gave up and left the DVR running is all I ever saw of them. Those seasons are dead to me.

Either play so you can win the damn thing, or do something else instead.

Complain about "play calling" if you must but there were plays to be made and the Bucks didn't make them. JT's throws have been mostly off, when he's actually had time.

If we can't throw it any better than we did that half it won't matter what plays are called.

It's amazing that Wisconsin found the key to beating this team and just didn't finish. Anyone who employs that strategy has had huge success. It kills me that the coaches do nothing to make an adjustment the 4th time we see this defense.

Samuel down the middle had that been complete when have been a 20 yard gain easily if not much more. But JT had to throw that completely off target.

Man, so many missed opportunities.

To us, sure. To those who vote for these things - no conference title and a squeaker over a dUMb team may sway them. I can't say definitely that I disagree.

scUM is probably one of the best 4 teams in the country. Just winning is the biggest style point you can get.

That's exactly it.

If this game is what it takes for us to reevaluate every member of the coaching staff, it might be better for us in the long run. I understand some people are better at recruiting and some are better at coaching, but those who can only recruit should not be 'coaches' - especially not at Ohio State.

That's also an issue... we went out and established a coaching staff full of guys who can recruit and have ties to certain areas. There's a reason you have switch hitters or right handed hitters instead of fielding a line up of all left handed hitters. BALANCE.

Give me a great developer over a recruiting all star anyday. We have enough all stars at this point so go get a offense coordinator that can develope our QB

When have there been adjustments all year? I'm not sure Beck and Warriner have it in them. Plus it doesn't help that Barrett is pretty mediocre at this point. Plus where the fuck has Samuel gone?!?!

samuel has touched the ball or been targeted on every drive except one. scum is slanting their defense specifically to TAKE AWAY samuel and weber. our wr's are struggling to get off physical bump and run coverage and our online is doing what highly talented true freshmen olinemen do against very talented senior dlinemen.

our only chance is to slow down their dline. you do that with screens and draws. with the way scum land is running blitzes and the tight man on the corners... both are extremely high risk high reward propositions.

football is won in the trenches. if the literal messiah is our qb at best we have 2 more completions than we do now.

Offense is going to have to go out and establish ther will the 1st drive of the second half. Get out of your comfort zone and quit being so predictable with your formations.
