The Big Ten Is Irrelevant - Again

2. Ezekiel Elliott Is the Most Entertaining Player in College Football
Leonard Fournette may be better, but Zeke is more exciting to watch. There’s just an ineffable (yet unmistakable) coolness about him that conjures memories of Reggie Bush, Herschel Walker, and Bo Jackson and reminds us why running back was once regarded as the most glamorous position in football.

Partly this is due to his alliterative name, which has a much better ring to it than, say, “Nick Chubb” — and that’s to say nothing of Zeke’s dearly departed crop top. Mostly, though, it’s a result of his sui generis style of play. Elliott accelerates through holes with jaw-dropping burst, weaves in and out of defenders like Lionel Messi, and is always thinking two steps (or jukes) ahead of the opposition. And as Saturday’s game against Indiana proved, he’s also still college football’s biggest home run hitter:
Good article, but please don't compare Zeke to a soccer player ever again.

Look for the shots to keep coming after MSU, Iowa, and Northwestern soiled themselves.
Its all about the matchups, no one is better at this than the SEC.... the B1G sucks so bad at this. NW should played UF, thats about the only difference because ND woulda boat raced Iowa... about the only way to salvage them is maybe throw them against Georgia and move PSU to another game.

Agreed. However, I'm perplexed... losing to fucking Texas and making the playoffs.

Ehh

Wasn't surprised at all by Northwestern and Iowa.
That division is pathetically weak.
Didn't think Sparty stood a chance, but expected them to at least show up.

So the only top25 schools that showed up were us and Harbaugh?
Fuck. At least this will be good for us on the recruiting trail... "Dantonio still can't win when it matters most."

Yeah the main thing here is at least Iowa showed some god damn pride in the 2nd half sparty blew a chance to make it close at the end of the first half then quit.

It's hard to believe; but the B1G actually has a winning bowl record so far, i.e. 5-4, with Ped State playing the Georgia Dwags today. If Ped State would win the B1G would actually be 2-2 vs the SEC in bowl games this year.

Winners: Ohio State over ND, scUM over Florida, Wisky over USC, Gophers over CMU, and Corn over UCLA. There are 4 B1G wins over "marque college programs" (i.e. ND, USC, UCLA, and Florida).

I really wasn't a surprise to see Alabama beating Sparty, Stanford beating Iowa, Duke beating Indiana, or Tennessee beating NW; but yeah, some of those score (i.e. blowouts) were embarrassing for the B1G.
