No. Touching the QBs facemask is going get that called. It's petty and the rules suck. It's a shame there's not difference in the 5 and 15 yard varieties.

Nope. The rule is that the old 5 yard penalty is no longer illegal. I've seen many many times where a QB or anyone's facemask is touched and no call. The refs charged Ohio State a first down and half the distance for a play that was not illegal in any way.
