Thank you, 2009 Seniors

4 pairs of gold pants, 4 BCS bowls, 4 big ten championships, and 43 wins.

My only regret is that those fellas didn't get a national championship. What a class though. NC aside, it doesn't get much better than that.

Congrats Seniors on being the Winningest Class in OSU history. You worked hard and we are greatly appreciative of you all. Thanks again and good luck moving onward and upward. Go Bucks!!!

Quite a few ups and downs with this class, whether injuries or other setbacks, but they showed great character in enduring some major personnel changes and overbearing criticism to keep OSU a top program for their tenure. Jimmy Cordle, L. Wilson, Doug Worthington, Andre Amos, Spittler, Russell, and others impressed me by overcoming personal setbacks with tenacity and dignity. How Kurt Coleman is considered a "no name" escapes me. Disappointing that a couple guys didn't get to make the trip, but everyone who played made a difference at some point in the season. The guys who didn't get PT may be the hardest workers of all. They will always be remembered for bringing the Rose Bowl trophy back to Columbus for the first time under Tressel. Good luck the rest of the way, Men!

One thing that kinda got lost in all the piling on with the bowl losing streak... OSU almost sent out a senior class without winning a bowl. Glad these guys get to finish up as ROSE BOWL CHAMPIONS.

Thanks for everything guys.

Okay, maybe it can get even better than that.

Rose Bowl Champions and the winningest class in the history of Ohio State football. Has a nice ring to it.

Guys, here's the tribute. I just spent two hours reading the crow-eating accolades that these "sports journalists" are writing about you and your performance.

Did you bear the brunt of an attack by media players hell bent on disrupting the launch of the Big Ten network by attacking the Big Ten football poster child? Or were prognosticators just stating their honest opinions after the prior bowl losses? There are lots of opinions. Internationally, this game was advertised as "the PAC 10 Champion Oregon Ducks vs Ohio State's Buckeyes." No mention of your championship. No hint that you deserved to be in the game or had a chance of winning it.

Congratulations! God bless each of you as you go through life. Use what you have learned at Ohio State to serve humankind and make the world a better place.
