Awesome job seniors. What really stands out to me about this group is their adversity. They were leading a young group of players that had yet to find an identity, yet they found ways to win. Today I just loved how senior captains Spitler and Worthington came up with clutch plays. Coleman played his hurt out, Russel grabbed two picks, Denlinger was a load inside, and Small played an important role. These guys went out on such a high note for senior day. Regardless of how they do in the Rosebowl, I will look back fondly on this senior class and season. Thanks for your hardwork and leadership. The following teams will benefit greatly from it in addition to what was built this year. Can't wait for Pasadena!

Two more wins will place these students firmly in the record books in a storied Ohio State program.

Guys, well done to you all. We have so enjoyed watching you play and look forward to victories over TSUN and in the Rose Bowl.

Your leadership leaves the Buckeyes well placed for a major run next year. We shall not forget.

Also as a tribute to these guys consider this.

After today the all time series now stands at 57-43-6. 14 games in favor of scUM.*

That is as close as its been since 1937 when the gap was at 12 games.

I shall live to see the day when we take over the series lead. I am only 28, so I anticipate in my mid 40's this will happen.

If they win the Rose Bowl, they'll set the 4-year record with 44 wins.

Today they tied the current mark of 43, shared with the 1995-98, 2002-05, and 2005-08 classes.
