I'm surprised no one has brought up his comments from the sideline interview during the MSU game. Thad spoke how he has been a Buckeye fan since childhood (used to pretend he was Archie Griffin when playing backyard football, his high school fight song being the same as ours). For anyone thinking he'll ever bail for another college job, just keep his interview in mind.

Man, he's only 40...just think where this program is going to be over the next 2-3 decades.

It is surprising, Mili. Personally, I was just stunned. Little Matta running around the backyard on the farm pretending to be Archie Griffin. That is an image that I had difficulty wrapping my mind around. We are so incredibly lucky to have this guy as our coach.

Lets hope he never wants to leave Ohio State......I am sure the university will continue to make him comfortable here.........the recent raise and the plan for additional basketball facilities shows their commitment to Thad.

Coach K ( I can't spell it either :)) not being on that list just goes to show you how fast a coach can fall out of favor with the media. Kinda like, What have you done for me lately.
