Match-up between two electrifying quarterbacks, and staunch defenses.

The laughable part of this is that the 'Eers are only going to from bad schedule to worse schedule as the season progresses. If they believe they are not currently getting respect, wait till the last two weeks of November.

I'd say it's doing a good job countering the list of "Reasons why the biased voters have no business worshipping a scrappy USC record vs. a dominant Texas team"
I've been saying the same thing, at least once a day to my soCal friend. Sadly, the voters have no idea that last year isn't involved in voting for this year (hence OU vs. Auburn in 04).Dethrone? That same scenario could put USC versus Ohio State or Penn State in the Fiesta Bowl as well. I think I'd have to take a couple days off work to watch those games.

If both teams go undefeated... USC will be number 1 n Texas will be #2 at the end of the year BCS poll.

The ACC isn't what it used to be, its at least as tough as the big ten in the top 3-4 teams, and they have to play a championship game too.
USC or Tejas is a toss up for #1 right now. IMO the horns are a better team, but it's hard to put a two time champion at #2 while they're on a 20+ game win streak. Deosn't mean shit though as long as you're in the Rose Bowl. I have a feeling we're headed for another BCS train wreck at the end of the season. Somebody's gonna be 11-0 or 12-0 and watching the NC game from the sidelines.
