It's not like California, New York or Boston arrogance. They don't give a single fuck what you think of them or where they live. Texas arrogance is profoundly rooted in insecurity. They need...demand...that you acknowledge and validate their puffed chest vision of themselves and Texas.

I don’t know all the Texans. But I know a few. And upon meeting you, they take it as an insult if you aren’t a cowboys fan. Or a longhorns fan.
