I served 24 years in the Air Force, the last 19 in the weather career field which had a pretty large number of aTm grads in our ranks. There were 2 alma maters that made you shake your head when you saw them on your inbounds list...the Academy and aTm. Almost to a person, they had some sort of personality defect and an overt sense of superiority. Difficult people to work with.

FSO here. At an embassy Christmas party the year we played them in a bowl game, the Marine Sergeant who commanded the security detail came up to me and wished Ohio State good luck. I asked him if he was from Ohio or had some OSU alum kids, and he said "No, it's just that a&m sends me the worst god damned officers in the corps."

Very odd people, truly. Just really...I don't know...rigid. Always struggled to integrate with co-workers and could just suck the energy out of a room like nothing I've seen.

I'm guessing the Academy grads had a huge chip on their shoulder because their lifelong goal was to be an F15 pilot and, for whatever reason, they didn't even make the cut to be any kind of pilot. The ATM grads' lifelong goal was to be straight, and they were still struggling with that when they ended up on your doorstep.

Academy dinks generally went for Meteorology, they were dorks, so it wasn't the pilot thing. They just had the "I'm hot shit because I went to the Academy" arrogance. aTm folks were just fucking weirdos.

They could. They suck but I'm not sure I'd call any of those games sure losses.

Florida - Offense is not good either, defense is really bad (117th in yards allowed per game)
Auburn just stinks, they don't really do anything well. But the game is @ Auburn

Umass is a sure W

LSU is the flavor of the week because they beat a overhyped Ole Miss team, but if they can lose to Florida State they can lose to A&M on the road.

Not sure what's funnier though, them missing a bowl game totally or them going 6-6 and losing in one of the SEC's bottom bow tie-ins, the Birmingham Bowl (vs some AAC team) or "Union Home Mortgage" Gasparilla Bowl
