Travel woes force Appalachian State to stay overnight in College Station after upset win over Texas A&M

After pulling a historic 17-14 upset at No. 6 Texas A&M on Saturday, the Appalachian State football team didn't get to celebrate back home in Boone, North Carolina.

Mechanical issues with the team charter forced the Appalachian State team to spend the night at the hotel where they'd slept the previous night in College Station, a team spokesperson told ESPN. With the hotel sold out, the team spread out in various hallways, conference rooms and the lobby area.

The team spent about three hours on Saturday night at the airport before returning to the hotel around midnight. They had an unofficial 3:30 a.m. wake-up before returning to the airport, where they boarded a flight at 4:30 a.m.

The team flew to Charlotte on Sunday morning. They landed around 8:30 a.m., and the five team buses were expected to get to Boone, which is about two hours away, around 11 a.m.

After the "high" from the win, they probably didn't mind and couldn't have slept anyway.

So I saw something else from this.......god fucking help me for typing this.......yell practice. Pretty much the same thing. The comments were just a treasure trove of all the culty weird ass shit they do that we all know about. Then I came across this bad boy:

I still feel that it needs to posted and studied as a historical document......so everybody can always look at these fucking weirdos and try to prevent anything like this from ever happening anywhere else on earth. The fact that the school not only allows such nonsense, but ENCOURAGES IT, is absolutely mind bottling to me.

Also, there's no fucking way you can watch that video from start to finish. You'll have to take breaks. I got 1:27 into it and had to stop. Please don't try to be a hero. Take this in small doses, I beg you.

This is the one I saw before it got taken down.

I also learned from the comments that the dumbfuck way they hike their knee up randomly, and the way they grab their bicep every so often, all goes back to some fake army weirdo who had an oversized pair of overalls while he was delivering his culty weird nonsense joke speech. His pant legs were too long, so he kept trying to hike them up. The strap was falling down so he kept having to hike it up. And that's a "tradition" now that they all do. For real. That's 100% factual.
