MSU does not have a premiere center, they have 2 strong PFs in Morgan & Roe, 1 muscular 3/4 hybrid in Morgan, a limited backup in Thornton & a limited center in Nix...

...but that's grossly superior to the one center & limited backup forward OSU has, especially since the center is a garbage guy (how he gets his points, dunks, tips, rebounds) on the offensive end.

Izzo is now 6-1 in regional final games. The dude can flat out coach in the NCAA tounaments, where it counts the most.

I agree wholeheartedly. However, I reacted to what seemed an offhand comment that Sparty and tOSU have comparable bigs, therefore MSU's success vs. UT's bigs was attributable to coaching.

I think you are forgetting about Green unless he is the hybrid instead of Morgan.

Dallas really needs to work on his shot from 10 feet in it including free throws or it will be the same thing all over again next year even if Turner would come back which I don't think he is going to.

On a side note, Izzo should have told Morgan to at least try and make that last free-throw. I don't think missing it did that much good plus it would have hurt the bank:)

I thought Green was huge yesterday towards the end of the game. Williams and Chism could not handle him when he drove to the basket. He also gave them a much needed person to help bring the ball up when Lucious was getting harassed by Goins and Maze.

I thought Morgan's miss was the right call either way. If they are going to beat you, it's going to be with a three anyway. So why not try and run some more time off? I didn't know you could rebound a ball and call a timeout in .2 seconds either. Can you even get a shot off in that time?

I'm kinda pissed that I didn't go to the game yesterday. I had tickets, but didn't feel like going and watching. I thought going would only have made the "what if's" worse.
