Tennessee +1.5 vs Sparty (ov/un 135.5) Sun 2:20 ET

Nice to see Sparty represent the Big Ten. Izzo does a fantastic job. Amazing that they can lose Lucas and still make a Final Four.

So 3 out of the 4 Final Four teams will be teams that the Buckeyes have played this season. Cool.

The last shot was certainly rushed by the Vol player, he had a dribble or two left before having to chuck it up, he could have even drawn a foul if he didnt rush it.

Also, anyone just hear Izzo compare his current players to Magic Johnson? WTF? Izzo is a good coach, but I think this might be a bit of an overstatement coach.

I had a feeling a Sparty win today would taste very bittersweet, for obvious reasons. Fuck it, I'm rooting for Butler. :ohwell:

I know, I dont get it. MSU is about the same as us inside, and they are having no trouble, dare I say coaching may have been the issue?

Since you're implying inferior coaching by Matta's staff, care to make a more detailed comparison between Sparty's bigs and ours?

Yes GO Butler. Of course I'm sure there will be a lot of "big ten" fans that root for Michigan St. I don't really care if they win or not......you just won't see me supporting them for obvious reasons. Screw rooting for the conference.

Most Tennessee fans I have ran across don't really care about the SEC chant like other fans in the SEC

Is this post serious?? How are we even remotely close to what MSU has inside?? It's like night and day.

How is a limited offensive player in Dallas Lauderdale at 6'8 even remotely close to two 6'8 players in Raymar Morgan and Delvon Roe? Not too mention a back-up center who handles the ball like an off-guard...

I'm not sure what teams you are watching...

Thornton is better than Madsen, and Thornton is their 4th or 5th big depending on the scheme and opponent.

Roe is a very good big.
Morgan is streaky but can be quite good when he's on. He's a physical defender & rebounder the rest of the time.
Green is a talented wide body with a little PG trapped inside.
Nix is a massive load down low to steal some minutes.

Roe is very talented, Morgan is streaky but can be very good, Green is power forward with a little PG trapped inside & they have a Tank
