It really wasn’t an insult. And it was Zach Smith. IIRC it was nothing more than general commentary regarding choosing a place for development as opposed to taking a bigger NIL deal. He used Tate as one example, among others, to suggest the importance of the training and development. Smith did say something to the effect of ‘kids need better advice,’ but I don’t know that it was directed at Tate.

This is a fan base that has thrashed fields with mustard bottles in multiple sport because they were upset with a referee's/umpire's call.

To refer to them as morons is an insult to morons.
