Second tier? I'm trying to think of a single metric, athletic, academic, or otherwise, where OSU could conceivably come in second to Tennessee even in the most fevered mind. All I can come up with is wintertime temperatures.

So, I guess that his standard is just a team's record in national championship games.

Bravo on the thread title change


I was actually going to recommend changing it, but whoever did this came up with a better one that what I was going to suggest.

My main reason wasn't because of recent events, but because Tennessee really didn't "know" how to do NIL before it was legal. That's more of a Auburn/Bama type of thing.

Tennessee paid players, but I wouldn't say they "knew" how to do it, because they got caught handing these out:
