Team preview: Ohio State (ESPN)

As far as ESPN goes, it's been a while now, and while I may be willing to put it behind me, I'm not willing to forget.

I'd compare it be being in prison with somebody a couple of years after they were brutally familliar with you. You may have to spend some time together in order to watch the game on TV, but you still have to look out for yourself, and you definitely don't pick up the soap!!

I thought that the article was pretty kind (at least what was posted) to OSU and Tressel...actually I thought it was a bit flattering, yet some instantly go on the defensive. Let the old news ESPN grudge go fellas, it just makes OSU fans look bad when you take everything and turn it into a shot against the Buckeyes. Plus, it gives them fuel to write stories to rile you all up.... I'm no ally of ESPN, but it gets a bit old hearing the same tiresome bitching and moaning from some.

i have to agree. as a Buckeye, my biggest gripe by far with my fellow Buckeyes is how defensive they get. being so defensive always leads to unneccesary confrontations and a bad reputation.

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT ESPN

I love oppurnity the Buckeyes have every season to prove those stuff shirt, ND loving, bastards that the Ohio State Gets A's across the board I think that we are fortunate to have everyone doubting us as a team, because I am veryconfident that we will meet and exceed expectations, I'm most excited for this upcoming season than any other because of the offense and the potential explosiveness of it, also to see the masterminds at work on defense I can't remember when tOsu didn't have a solid D. Damn the season needs to start this weekend the anticipation is killing me.

So go ahead Espn and rate us low or not at all. Go ahead kiss Brady Quinn's ass like he's the king of football, because in January tOSU will be in Arizona, I'm not so sure about the Irish.

Once again, BlueRibbon is not ESPN.

And Bruce Feldman has tOSU rated #1 in his preseason poll, that's not exactly low. :wink2:
