I unabashedly love Gee Scott. Gee shows all of us what hard work and drive can do. Easily one of my favorite Buckeyes with how he's attacked learning the TE position, in addition to his academic exploitsFreaking AWESOME!!
What an accomplishment!
The bolded for sure. Gee is a very talented athlete, but the transition to TE was going to be lengthy from a body composition perspective and also just learning the position. There were moments last year it seemed to be coming together, but really this is the year I would expect/hope to see the adaptation. Apparently he is a senior, so it has gotta be this year I suppose, really rooting for him. This guy could definitely be a what if candidate. What if he puts it together and gets his blocking as good as his catching. We all knew it was going to take a few years before we saw a competent TE version of Scott. Last year he was still figuring it out, and also needed to mature. If he can put it together with Stover, and the WRs, whomever Day picks at QB will have a top 3 offense as far as skill positions go.
