Another great game.

To pick on him a touch….he absolutely whiffed on 2 WR screens that ended up in tackle for loss or no gain for Emeka.

The entire point of play is for Cade to eat up the slot DB and leave Emeka one on one in space, where tOSU rightly feels he will win and get at least 5+ yards.

Maybe it was spacing (Cade too tight to formation, maybe it was just great DB play, maybe OSU needs to self scout better)…

Anyways, that play has been pretty effective this year and it was a train wreck yesterday. Again, I don’t want to pin it all on Stover bc he’s been a stud in the pass game but especially the run game as a blocker as well.

OSU needs to clean that up. From my eye, I felt like Cade wasn’t wide enough and he didn’t have the short burst ability to get to the DB before the DB could already make a play. OSU can easily remedy that, but probably something that should’ve been noticed after Cade whiffed the first time. It’s not an effort thing….it’s a scheme thing.

That was like the most casual three broken tackles I've ever seen. It was like he was running past 1st graders.

Capped off with #16 seeing what Cade had just done to three other dudes and tapping out while Cade was still at the 5 yard line! He wanted no part of that abuse.

I noticed that live and was laughing, #16 was just like "nah, I'm good". But that run after the catch was incredible, Cade knew he was getting into the endzone and nobody was going to deny him. Helluva game and helluva season so far, really fun to see us exploit defenses with the TE when they focus on of WRs. Never thought I would see the day.
