Hey ND Chief,

Bruce Hooley stated that when Smith contacted White to get a home and home, White told him that Notre Dame will be adjusting their schedule in the future.. you hearing anything about that?

Check you record agaisnt Michigan the last 15 against ND'S....

Come on, even you have to admit the difference in having Cooper as the coach against Michigan versus Tressel.

Well if they do I sure hope it is the Big 10 so they can play a candy ass Big 10 schedule!

I can't believe you believe that. True, you were 2-1 versus the Big 10 last year, but Purdue gave you the beating of your life in your house.

Go back to a year before and you were 0-3 versus the Big 10.

I guess we can see if ND beats the weak Big Ten teams this year, if you do, I will give you some props, because Michigan, Purdue, and Michigan State should be of the stronger opponent kind, not weak patsies.

If you think the Big 10 isn't a tough conference to play in, then you really don't know anything about college football. The conference will possibly have 3 NC contenders this year (OSU, Iowa, or Michigan) and a possible sleeper BCS team in Purdue.

Compared to NDs' schedule most years I certainly do belieive that! The only reason ND did not do well against the BIG 10 as of late is for one the ND has stunk and they played Michigan and Purdue two teams that have been among the best in the Big 10 lately. Add in the bottom half BIG 1O add in a few OOC fillers like most of the BIG10 plays and hey it's not that tough to win 7 games a year at least. Why do you think the BIG10 has half of it's teams going to bowl games?

ND will be trying to play more home games is what I have heard.

And Tressel has done better than Cooper but with many of Coopers players....

ND beat Michigan worse than OSU! 1 PT! LOL!
Whoa now...I can remember you your long discourse on the subject of "a win is a win" no matter the score and how some teams play so much better against certain teams....

This all came about when you were defending the ND victory over Navy which required a last second FG miss.

Funny how philosophies change depending on which side of the argument you are on.

Notre Dame will be very good this year -- watch out USCum and scUM. And they'll be even better next year.

Weiss has assembled a fantastic staff and is landing great recruits. There are far more top-ranked recruits listing ND in their top 5 this year than in the past two or three years. And Willingham left Weiss some talent that the new coaching staff will surely develop. Weiss will also bring an offense that NCAA teams will struggle to defend, at least early on.

seriously, who cares??

Notre Dame has not been relevant during the BCS years, and I don't expect them to accomplish a lot this year either. I care about Notre Dame just as much as I do Pittsburgh or Syracuse. Teams that might be able to make a BCS game every 6 or 7 years on their best years, but never in the title hunt.

The poor guy that wanted to talk about Maryland deserved about the same amount of respect.
