Well when they change the name to Touchdown Buddah I'll listen to the Buddhists and Muslims.

In the spirit of being the off season and not wanting to be repetative.........i think i'm going to start a thread talking about how great Baylor football is. they are just as relevant as nd.

if ND wants to join the big 10 and become the next penn state... *shrug* i guess thats one way to throw away your hopes of reestablishing your football dominance. ND in the big ten would be nothing more than another minnesota.

man i haven't "argued" with that fool in a long time. I guess he slinks away when they get swept by kc and lose a series to the brewers. i was reading the sports page yesterday and noticed them in 4th place :lol:

didn't you hear? penn state is returning to glory also. it wont be long before we have the penn state-nd national championship game.

because they didn't loose every game last year? :p isn't that kind of like the french claiming to be a military super power because they didn't loose a civil war? :wink:

remember, some sports analyst says "the bengals are 5 years from winning the super bowl" every year as well. statistically speaking they will be right eventually. but i don't recomend holding your breathe :wink:.

Why are we even debating with a Notre Dame fan in 2005?

If/when the Irish become relevant again that will be different, but the last decade of ND football places them 32nd best, having won barely 60% of their games. Take a look at some of the powerhouse programs ahead of them, while we await the inevitable "Yeah, but we played the 1978 Steelers, the 1993 Cowboys and the 1989 49ers three times each year!" excuse.

They're also on their 4th coach since 1994, so for some fool ND fan to be taking on the Buckeyes at this time is just silly. His only hope is to do what ND "fans" always do, live in the past...way in the past. :sleep2:

I'm sorry you are out of the loop martin.....penn state signed TWO good recruits. count them........TWO. they will both undoubtably be as good, if not better than, Ted Ginn. They will also go 10-1, 9-2 at the worst.
