TD Jesus said to merge...

OSU 98 had a nice record but didnt play anyone at all that was really good! But neither did ND.....

btw CW seems to have a little arrogance about him as he was quoted as saying that he see's no reason ND cant' be a a NC contender in 5 years....

Yes he does, he was also talking trash to USC which is a big mistake... you guys better sell your tickets cuz otherwise its gonna be an expensive humility session (but no matter how badly you lose to anyone, the fact that you lose so much gives you a chance to talk about how tough your schedule is)

You guys act as though I or other ND fans would be afraid to play OSU and that is FAR from the truth.
Too bad you can't say the same thing about your AD.

Seriously, the last time ND beat OSU was during the Depression, and the Buckeyes stomped the shit out of ND twice in the mid-90s. Given the performance of the mighty Irish the last decade, why the hell would Ohio State be "afraid" of Notre Dame? Hell, when ND played OSU they dropped Michigan both years. What's the matter, can't play us both? We didn't drop scUM for 2 years to warm-up against the team of the 20s. :roll2:

The truth is, few people outside of Vanderbilt and Rutgers fear Notre Dame these days, so take a dose of reality and get back to me. We'll get around to beating ND's ass - again - once we're done with Texas, USC and Miami OOC.

Good luck against Navy...

Uh, we beat an excellent 11-3 Big 12 champion Texas A&M team in the Sugar Bowl, and beat two bowl teams in our OOC schedule (West Virginia, who finished 8-4, and Missouri, who also finished 8-4 and ranked in both polls). We also dominated a good Michigan team that finished 10-3, shared the conference title with us, and finished #12 in both polls. Both Michigan and A&M were top ten teams when we beat them.
