The truth is far too simple.

Biggest rivalry, period. They had nothing to lose and came to play physical and hang their lives on the line to give it everything they had. The rest of the chips fell right in their laps.

Shit happens.

It’s a horrible feeling, but shit happens.

I won’t make excuses for the coaching… but shit happens.
shit definitely happens more with a shit coach

Never would have guessed that the 3rd down conversion to Egbuka w/ 6 minutes left in the 3rd was the last 1st down of the game. And actually they didn't come even close to converting another (closest was Howard scramble to get to 4th and 2 but it wasn't even that close. He didn't have a prayer).

The last 4 plays were beyond pathetic. They had a slim chance to win. But they didn't even try.

Yeah I don't get how this and the man who let it all hang out vs Clemson and Georgia is the same man

Clemson, UGA and Oregon this season

Same way I assume old white hair did in the 96 Rose Bowl against ASU or whoever that Jake Plummer team was, and A&M in that 1998 Sugar Bowl.

Day might be a good recruiter, but he's always coming up one game short not only in this game but in the playoffs as well. Talent is relatively meaningless I would say without the right mentality being instilled in the players, and so far he's failed big time in that area.

Who regularly loses to poor teams?
Give me that for a young guy who gets this rivalry man.

At this point there’s only 1 true answer. Mentally when we see those winged helmets and colors we KNOW deep inside we are losing the game. There’s no confidence to this team at all vs TCUN

Even on defense who played well we gave up drive after drive after drive. Defense still could’ve got off the field without allowing a 50+ yard game winning drive and they couldn’t do it even though they knew what was coming.

Right now there’s zero confidence we can win this game. There’s no belief and I have to admit when everyone announced they were coming back… I thought that was great but the one downside is all they know is losing this game. I honestly talked a big game leading up to today but I was very uneasy. I don’t know why but now I know why. TCUN owns us mentally right now. Fully owns us.

I think Day has been ultra successful here but I don’t know how we go forward.

Bjork came to A&M in '19, Jimbo went over in '17.
I think Bjork did the 80 large extension. I might be wrong, but it's been my understanding.
Am I the only one whose interest in the playoff is dead?
I know that we're going on the road and have a kicker who misses from less than 40 yards. So pretty much no. I'll root against a few teams, and that'll be my interest.

All I know, this university better go after every great available lineman n the off season. Spend the NIL money on offensive linemen because they sorely need it. I still can’t get over the fact that this team full of offensive juggernauts scored a measly 10 points. 10 points! Good gawd it’s Cleveland Browns level of sadness.

Other thing I don't like about Day is his QB selection. And maybe that's just coming from me being a bit spoiled from those athletic guys that Urban Meyer brought in, but I don't know. I mean yes when Howard gets protected as he should be, he can make most throws and operate like a traditional QB, but if that breaks down, he's not going to elude a whole lot of guys.

But I seriously think if we're going to beat these guys we gotta get back to.getting more of the JT Barrett and Justin Fields types who at least could wear the defenders out making them try and chase them all over the field.
