I'm confident we win i'm just not confident it's going to be the blowout that we want. I get the feeling this game is going to be more like the 2009 game (21-10 win over a stumbling Rich Rod club)

I say this because of our tendency to start very slow, and i'm guessing scUM is going to do all they can to just drain the clock to avoid a total beating.

In the end just win.

This year has been very similar to 09. Hoping this season includes a W over scUX, a Big Ten title, and a Rose Bowl win as well.

I would be thinking of '09 too if they played in AA. It'll definitely be close at half due to how much clock is getting drained, especially in the first quarter. If OSU gets 17 or more and holds them to 7 or less, I'll be very happy. Do that, and smother them in the second half and get a 27-13 win. I want more, but the win is all that matters.

I'm more concerned about those pieces of shit starting fights and trying to injure players. I fully expect constant chirping, shoving and a few choreographed incidents ala the kickoff in '13. They'll put in some dogshit senior out to go after knees or throw a punch so the ref sees retaliation and it won't matter if they get kicked out. They're the lowest of the low and I expect OSU to be prepared for it.

I know some will be saying “well they have nothing to lose” which I’d agree with if they hadn’t stole the last 4 years from us.

I think just on the losses itself our team will have the motivational edge.

Then a hidden benefit I think is that TCUN won in an eye brow raising fashion last week. So sure they have 5 losses but that’ll get the guys attention this week too.

We just have to get them away from running the ball and the best way to do that is to score early and often. Go score your first three possessions and watch them panic.

"They have nothing to lose" in this case only implies a barrage of mickey mouse fuckery plays and dirty play. You'd hope we are well prepared for both.

I think the NW game last week was probably a dose of false confidence for them though. That was the most pathetic 50 point display you will ever see but you got the DFBIA over here acting like it was some elite explosion. Most of it was due to NWs somehow worse offense handing them easy points with good field position all 2nd half. They didn't even hit 400 yards of offense. The talk about the QB and OL turning the corner is comical.

I think it will be an easy win. We'll go up 30-something to 10 in the middle of the third. Then, as much as he'd like to hang a hundred, Day will take his foot off the gas and get the starters out because he knows tcun will start getting chippy, start provoking fights and even trying to injure. It's who they are.

It's not like they'll ever be held accountable for even the worst behavior. Sherrone won't do anything, and the university President runs around their locker room wearing a jersey.

I'd take a 35-10 win with no injuries or provoked reaction suspensions.

Greetings From Behind Enemy Lines. These Feckless Cowards of the DFBIA are largely quiet up here. They're keeping their heads down and hiding out like a Mafia snitch who knows that the Godfather is sending in the assassin team to send a message of revenge & retribution. So I say Fuck'em. Troll them, incite them, and then take their souls on Saturday. LEAVE NO DOUBT was not meant for just Indiana. It comes full circle this Saturday when we go "in dry" on these cheating, sniveling wine drinking, cheese eating spineless ass lickers.

Feedback from IU fans was the crowd last Saturday was deafening and almost made them feel clausterphobic. Whole new experience for them. It was affecting Rourke’s line protection calls and clearly had him skaken.

My point is, The Shoe needs to be like that x10 this Saturday. Need a rabid, blood thirsty crowd and team.
Skaken is what you get when you combine Shaken and Scared.

Agree wholeheartedly and the refs have to be prepared to stop that before it starts

There’s no reason it shouldn’t be a top 3 stadium environment. It’s a beautiful yet huge stadium that is right on top of the field.

Sucks it takes enormous games to get everyone up but we know they’ll bring it this Saturday too.
