Haven't needed a CPA since the wifey stopped being self-employed about 2 years ago. Used to use Turbo Tax, but every damn year they tweaked the interface...making it worse and worse each year. Finally said hell with it.

I do the math at home and print out the forms at work.

By myself. Sorry, but I can't see shelling out money to pay for a software program that takes almost as long to use as it does to manually do taxes. Even with my deductions it takes me only about 30-45 minutes to do my taxes, and I save the $49-$79 that most tax software runs.

I agree. It takes all of my info from last year, incorporates it, runs me through the list of itemized deductions and then checks for errors. Good stuff.
