I don't intend on ever watching this movie. Ferrell's "comedy" is too predictable, and over the top to be the feature guy. He was great in Old School, but that was because the story didn't focus on his character. His character in Wedding Crashers was useless. They should have left him out of it, and added more gratuitous nudity.

Huh. I dunno--haven't seen TN, but I'm looking forward to it. Someone mentioned the 'French rival' being an active deterrant to their enjoyment of the movie, whereas that actor's presence is what has me so interested. The actor, by the way, is Sacha Baron Cohen of Da Ali G Show fame, and for whatever reason, I find myself cracking up at everything he does. Even his voice work in Madagascar was brilliant. Regarding Will Ferrell, Old School was good, Elf was good, Anchorman was phenomenal, and his performance in Zoolander - one that people seem to forget about pretty frequently - more than makes up for all the Kicking and Screamings and Bewitcheds he has to his (dis)credit.
