I think you are a little high there.

"Now, Advertising Age is reporting that the product placement gave Wonder Bread more than $4 million worth of advertising."

No, unless SI had a misprint... For anyone that gets SI, go to page 18 and on the botton there is an article called "Talledega White." I tried searching for the article on SI.com, but found nothing. I quote this from the magazine. " The value of the Wonder Bread's screen time has been estimated at $100 million."

For crying out loud, there was a applebees tv commercial about their stupid shrimp in the middle of a crash scene.

I guess you didn't get it..........

I thought the movie was entertaining for the most part. I just thought that it was an over the top, back handed slap at Nascar and most of their fans. I don't like Nascar, so I thought that Will Ferrell was the perfect fit for a pompus asshole, homophobic, red neck with a need for speed. If you are a fan of Nascar, chances are you won't like this movie that much.

People who enjoy this movie are probably the same ones who enjoyed Zoolander, or Anchorman. If you didn't like those movies, you probably won't like this one.

It wasn't his greatest, but I thought it was an entertaining movie.

very well stated. Personally I wouldn't waste a dime on this movie or at home. Will Ferrell is funny, but this Nascar thing has got to go. Zoo lander and Anchorman is kinda funny, but not top notch like Dumb and Dumber

I thought it was pretty great. On first viewing, I liked it more than Anchorman, but Anchorman was a huge grower (I like it more every time I see it), and my guess is this isn't going to be a grower. It was pretty funny. I thought the Applebee's commercial in the middle of the crash was friggin' hilarious, though, JW..
