In the new SI, they talk about why wonder brad got the free advertising and I believe some expert said that he valued the on screen exposure to being almost 100 million dollars of free advertising

I guess you may have to consider that the opening weekend is going to draw out more people that the film appeals directly to (i.e. Will Ferrell/NASCAR fans), but I'm not necessarily either and found it pretty damn funny. To each his own I guess, or "When in Rome..."

I saw it today and liked it too. There seemed to be lots of "making fun of the rednecks" type of humor.
